Who the AssaultRunner Classic is for, in our reading of the spec sheet: Home athletes who want a self-powered curved slat mill without electricity and can handle an unlimited, user-driven pace. Skip it when Walkers who need a motorized belt, incline, or a published numeric top speed — Assault lists speed as unlimited.
Who the TRUEFORM.RUNNER is for: Buyers who want a hand-built, self-powered curved treadmill and can pay the manufacturer list plus wait for USA production/install. Skip it when needs a motor, incline, or a lower-list machine — TrueForm’s own Trainer is the lighter imported sibling.
If ceiling height is the constraint, prefer the shorter published frame and then run Will-It-Fit with your ceiling, your height, and the exercise. HAJEX’s standing-press rule of thumb is height × 1.33 plus about 9 in for full-size plates. A rack that “fits the room” on assembled height can still fail a pull-up if there is not about a foot above the bar.
